Just because I can come up with two examples of people who like the idea, whether or not I think it's ridiculous, I will!
As I was laughing about it to friends, one of 'em who likes wearing a corset was positively enchanted by the idea. Which goes to show that if you like wearing corsets enough to make your own and wear it on weekends, the idea of upgrading to a 'tactical' one might seem logical instead of ridiculous.
My grandmother was amused but approved, and wistfully mentioned that when she wore corsets as a young girl, they gave her a figure to catch a husband. She keeps her pearl handled revolver in her purse though - no need for corsets at her age.
Why not get someone to add 'tactical' attachments for leg and back casts, and sell them as easy defense while you're temporarily crippled? It'd be hilarious.
