They are back in production. But the legal dispute over the seized receivers continues.

What was the issue specifically and will it affect existing CavArms lowers that are in circulation?

As I understand it, the ATF hasn't told them why they seized their inventory, still. There was some kind of question about exactly where, physically, the receivers were being manufactured, and they had to stop outsourcing some of the molding, or something like that.

There aren't even rumors about legal issues affecting already circulating Cav lowers.

Nice work Oleg. Makes their product look professional.

I choose an AR180b as my own EBR, so 'plastic' receivers hold no fear for me.
The Cav-arms offering looks interesting.

Could one make a DCM-legal rifle on a cav-arms receiver? It lacks things like the detaching trigger guard (hey, it was 10 degrees outside this morning...).
