What issues are the BATFE raising?

Just a few days ago I was discussing "interesting" colored rifle furniture with my wife. I looked around the Cavalry Arms site and I have a couple of questions. I am asking you in case you happen to know. If not I can contact them.

-In the photos I see furniture in a variety of colors that I can't find for purchase on the site. Blue for example. Are those available or are they discontinued or one offs?

-If my wife wanted to paint her rifle, she is among other things an artist, what paint could be used that would look good and be durable on the furniture material? This probably would not be a solid color but images, patterns, etc. I suggested your "peace through superior firepower" image but we will see.

In a number of your images you show firearms in a variety of colors. Are all of them actually that color or have the images been modified?

Do you know of other sources for non-standard colored firearms?

The BATFE raided Cav Arms over two months ago and seized all of the firearms and business records, including those belonging to customers and employees, and also including the offsite backups and personal firearms at the owner's home. However, the warrant affidavit is sealed, so nobody knows what they think Cav Arms has done wrong. There is some suspicion that somebody who was loosely affiliated with CavArms got busted for something and may have made some allegations to try and reduce his own sentence on non-firearm's related charges.

What can they sell?

Does that mean they are currently unable to sell firearms? How about parts that are not receivers?

They can sell anything except receivers or complete guns. Uppers, clothing, furniture for rifles and shotguns -- check their site for the full list.

I also notice that the email page on their website says they will be away till December 11!. Is that left from last year or related to the current problems. If from last year they need to fix it.

p.s. Sorry for the duplicate Anonymous entry. I tried to cancel but not soon enough.
