Some people didn't like the term. For them, an alternative.

Does he have any tips/tricks on carrying while in a wheelchair?

I ask because my wife, [info]pooka is using a wheelchair more often now, and will eventually be in one full time too.

He carries a snubbie in a strong side pocket, a large autoloader IWB crossdraw and another large autoloader with multiple spare magazines on the wheel chair itself. I'll post photos as I edit them.

Concealed Carry Magazine will run an article on him in June.

I picture Pooka in wheelchair outfitted like a fucking tank.
And I think a flame thrower would be rad as hell.

That is so sweet.
Not as sweet as being able to walk, but still.
Or wheelchair that looked like a mini tie fighter would be bad ass, and suitable for Pooka as well.

Go to that link and hit the Speedster area. Talk about pimping your ride, the damn wheelchair is $12k!

$12k is pretty standard for a power wheelchair so for a tank chair, that seems pretty inexpensive

That's the price for the Speedster version, they don't post the price for the Tank Chair because each one is individually tailored to the specific person's disability.

Custom built for each person and tailored to their specific disability.

As a disclaimer, I have only seen them in videos, but I've watched their development for a while since my wife will eventually be in a chair permanently, so it's more pertinent to me now. The concept is a winner in my book.

mount a gatling gun and your old lady is set. ( I in no way make light for her condition, however i like your plan to make the best of it. )

Already checked it out.

She's got a problem with heights and balance, so even with it doing all the work for her, just looking at it almost sent her into a panic attack.

Besides, the other one has treads. Treads rock. I could play Panzergrenadier with her.

I've been using FIST #42 Driving Holster to Crossdraw. Works perfectly for sitting in a wheelchair and is a well made leather holster.

I'd go with whatever he says he is. If some don't like it, well they can talk to the source. Prolly get short shrift too.
