Holy geez... are these the real proportions of the bayonet???
Thu, Dec. 6th, 2007 09:24 am (UTC)
Yes. The rifle has a 14.5" barrel. The bayonet is 20" long, it is Swiss engineer corps issue.

Looks kinda unwieldy for her size. But then, I've not tried handling firearms in a long time, bayonet or no.

One of the things I can say :)

Holy crap. That things more of a bayonet with a rifle lug.

Man that was a good line!

I absolutely LOVE that bayonet! Where oh where would I get one of those?
Am I wrong to say that is an AR-15 variant? Would a bayonet like that fit on any bayonet mounting area or just on AR-15 variants? *drools*
Thu, Dec. 6th, 2007 03:08 pm (UTC)
Yes - AR15. Previous post says 14.5" barrel.

That's actually the same bayonet. That, or that's MMike's second one he got his hands on. Last I knew, though, that one wasn't in any sort of display condition.

I can do other bayonets cheaper, and convert anything you send me.
I'm pondering a spoon.
It hurts more.

I might suggest swapping "makes" and "only" for the sake of word flow.

It would change the meaning of the sentence slightly, wouldn't it?
"Gun control makes only predators safer" emphasizes that gun control increases the safety of predators, not the common people.
"Gun control only makes predators safe" would mean that gun control has no other effect than making predators safe.
I think gun control has other effects as well, such as depriving people of a nice hobby, and giving gun-grabbing politicans the feeling that they are in Kontrol.

haat understands the language.
Gun restriction deprives people of that most basic right (the right to survive by their own initiative) so it also deprives them of their humanity.

Your poster; your call -- but my strongly-held opinion is that it's better propaganda with the last sentence omitted.

After pondering on it for a while, I have to agree. It is much stronger minus the last sentence.

Great poster BTW (with that one quibble…)
