I only shot SCAR-L. Good trigger, no recoil, no muzzle rise in semi or auto modes, no gas blowback with the pictured sound suppressor. But I only shot one magazine through it. I imagine the H is similar.

Hrm. Well, obviously, you've seen one and I haven't, but everything I've read has said that it's going to take proprietary mags of some kind. (Which seems ridiculous, given that it's an FN designed 20 rd 7.62x51 NATO magazine.)

If that's not the case, then cool. Maybe I'll get to own one someday. :)

I'm pretty confident that the FAL mags won't fit, but a M14 mag with modifications should.

While I know that looks aren't really important for a military rifle, but that is one ugly rifle.

Sorry, is there any chance that the SCAR-H will be avaiable as 'hunting' rifle, semi-auto only? And - barrel length - 16"?

The gun is in testing now and I believe limited issue to some special ops forces.

Both the 5.56mm and 7.62mm versions will be available in semiauto for civilians in 2008.
